Yvonne M. Erickson

Yvonne M. Erickson, age 74, 1099 Erickson Lane, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at her residence under the care of Ministry Home Hospice. Yvonne was born February 15, 1940 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Cleo and Rubie (Shores) Fish. She married Rollie Erickson on November 1, 1958 in Tomahawk; he passed away October 16, 2006. In her early years, Yvonne was a nurse's aide at Riverview Hospital, and later was employed with the family sawmill. She and Rollie proudly built both of their homes. Yvonne enjoyed gardening and canning, and was a care-giver for her entire family. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Mother, Rubie Fish, Tomahawk; children, Debra (Terry) Hamus, Tomahawk, Pam Erickson, Tomahawk, Tony (Tina) Erickson, Tomahawk, Kevin (Mary) Erickson, Tomahawk; sister, Beverly Fish, Tomahawk. Yvonne is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson and one granddaughter. Funeral Services for Yvonne Erickson will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Thursday, July 24th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the hour of services at 11:00 AM.
