Vivian E. Haapakoski

Vivian E. Haapakoski, age 90, a longtime Spirit area resident, passed away, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at ManorCare Nursing Home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Vivian was born on December 23, 1924 in Brantwood, Wisconsin to Nels and Cora (Soper) Crowell. She married Onnie Haapakoski on June 21, 1947 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, he passed away in 2009. Vivian enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She also enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles, and her dog, Sam. Survivors include: Children, Randall (Teresa) Haapakoski Menomonee Falls, WI Lori (Glenn) Olson Brookfield, WI Philip (Nancy) Haapakoski Menomonee, Falls, WI Vivian is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Onnie, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Funeral services for Vivian Haapakoski will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Funeral Home Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
