Michael L Raunio

Michael Lee Raunio, age 44, passed away unexpectedly in Milwaukee on Nov. 8, 2015. Michael was born Feb. 17, 1971 in Chicago to Larry and Darlene (Shellberg) Raunio. Michael was a graduate of Tomahawk High School in 1990. Surviving are his mother Darlene, Tomahawk; sister Lisa (Chris) Volkmann, Sugar Camp; nephew Elijah Volkmann, Sugar Camp; niece Naomi Volkmann, Sugar Camp; aunt Judith (Ranta-Menge) Goetsch, Waupaca; and cousins Steve (Robbin) Ranta, Merrill; and Lynn (Jon) Woller, Merrill. Preceding Michael in death were his father, Larry Raunio; grandfathers Arvid Shellberg and Matthew Raunio, grandmothers Evelyn Shellberg and Helen Mannisto and uncle Ralph Ranta. Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery.
