Marlyn Coffman, age 86, 15 E. Spirit Ave., Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, October7, 2014 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill.
Marlyn was born July 31, 1928 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Otto and Ruth (Emory) Stelter. She married Kenneth Coffman on April 9, 1951 in Marion, Arkansas. For 45 years, Marlyn and Ken, along with her sister Lorna and her husband Bob, owned and operated Mug & Jug in Tomahawk. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, quilting, and bowling. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, TOPS, the VFW Auxiliary, and the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk.
Survivors include: children, Jeffory (Eileen) Coffman, Tomahawk, Joan (Scott) Coshenet, Oconto; siblings, Lorna Coffman, Tomahawk, Ida (Edward) Crofoot, Tomahawk, Donald (Ardell) Stelter, Tomahawk. Marlyn is further survived by five grandchildren, two step grandsons, eight great grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Marlyn Coffman will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Debra Hastings will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
