Dawn Gessler

Dawn A. Gessler, age 75, W5950 Greenwood Road, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Wausau Manor in Wausau. Dawn was born July 20, 1939, the daughter of Evert and Rosetta (Krueger) Erickson. She married Thomas Gessler on August 28, 1972 in Random Lake, Wisconsin. After living in Manitowish Waters for many years, Dawn moved back to Tomahawk following her retirement. She was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: children, Duane 'Dewey' (Anne) Gessler, Oconto Falls, David (Beau) Gessler, Tomahawk, Daryl Gessler, Weston, Michele (Putzer) Slaga, Tomahawk, Cristine (Randy) Pupp, Mosinee, Barbara (Dan) Pupp, Wausau. Dawn is further survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband - Tom in 2013. Funeral Services for Dawn Gessler will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at noon. Private Family Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
