Daun M. Doberstein, age 70, of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 17, 2015 in the town of Little Rice. Daun was born on February 27, 1945 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Milford and Goldie Price. She was united in marriage to Thomas C. Doberstein on May 5, 1984 in West Bend. Daun had been a typesetter in the printing industry for many years. She loved music, singing, and dancing. She also enjoyed Sunday drives and loved spending time at the cabin by the Willow Flowage north of Tomahawk. Daun was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Parish in West Bend. Survivors include: Husband, Tom Doberstein, West Bend, WI Daughter, Tammy Apel, Hartford, WI Daughter, Sue Doleschy, Lake Forest, MN Son, Scott (Caryl) Doberstein, LaCrosse, WI Sister, Karen (Melvin) Russell, Milwaukee, WI Daun is further survived by 4 Grandchildren, (Jennifer, Jessica, Nick, Nate), 6 Step grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren (Adrianna, Caden, Savannah, and Benjamin), and 1 step great grandchild, Orion Flann. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Angels Catholic Parish in West Bend, Wisconsin, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Fr. Rick Wendell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4 until the time of Mass at 6:00 p.m. Private entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with the services. Tom and Tammy would like to thank all of Daun's caregivers, especially, Renee H., Chris S., Dawn P., Mary P., and Queenie W.
