Chuck Mielke, age 64, of 315 Menominee Street, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 5, 2014.
Charlie "Chuck" was born on June 8, 1950 in Tomahawk, to Otto and Edythe (Kuepper) Mielke. Charlie was formerly married to Julie (Krueger) and together they had 3 children. He was the co-founder of Tomahawk Log & Country Homes. Charlie was a long time Kwahamot and loved waterskiing, snowmobile & jet-ski racing. He enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers. Charlie especially loved his Canadian hunting and fishing trips.
Survivors include, children, Heidi (Brad) Schultz, of Greenville, WI, Josh (Sharon) Mielke, of Sussex, WI, Holly (Tim) Albert, of Tomahawk; his mother, Edythe Mielke, of Tomahawk; siblings, Sheri Paice, of Algonquin, IL, Wayne (Sue) Mielke , of Tomahawk. Charlie is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Mielke.
The Funeral Service for Charlie Mielke will take place at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk, on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00AM. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
